I like the effect the zoom gives you, like the car is at a distance yet still fills half of the picture. I'm pretty sure that Porsche picture is at 20.0x, but the ground is covered by the aperature blur :)

Yeah the focus bar helps a lot Dew :lol: Move it so that you can only see the car itself, and if the edges of the car are still blurred, adjust the aperature until it looks good. There's a bar on the side of the screen that moves as these settings are changed, looking at that sometimes helps figure ...

Yeah the aperture being fixed helps a lot if you're going for an action shot. It's a little hard to get used to though :P

There's really no hard or fast rule to my photo settings, it depends on the kind of photo I want, the lighting on the track, the color of the car, the angle, what mood I'm in, what I ate for breakfast... :lol: But I generally go for lower exposure, higher contrast, brightness and quite a bit of colo...
