Hi Folks,

I bought the MS wheel about a week ago in preparation for F3. Been practicing on F2 and it's like a whole new game...i'm slower but having more fun :) Well up until the wheel cuts out and I smash into a wall, which is not much fun at all. I have been searching online but the only thing I could find out was that possibly the plug was coming loose from the vibrations...that sent me into QE mode lol

I've tried a bunch of different combos of power with the same result so I returned the wheel for a new one. The new only cut out in the 4th lap of a 4 lap "ring" race. I have put a set of batteries in and will monitor the plug but wtf? anyone else have or heard of this problem?

Yours Truly,

Mr. Big Red III esq.

You put Mr. Big Red III esq.

Doesn't that mean Esquire, as in a Lawyer? Which requires a Juris Doctorate, or JD. I'm guessing it was a joke though...

In the United States, the suffix Esq. is most commonly encountered in use among individuals licensed to practice law. This usage applies to both male and female lawyers. The term Esquire is assumed by the legal profession, and has not been awarded to it by any government or authority.

I have the wheel too, and mine never cuts out by itself (although getting it connected after I've been using a controller is a pain). Are you using batteries AND the plug? If you have it plugged into the wall, it should run without any batteries (I don't recommend running it with batteries unless you like buying new ones every 5 minutes). Make sure the middle connection part of the plug is firmly pushed into the little power supply box as well.

If you got a new one and it still isn't working, you're doing something wrong. Or you've wronged the Forza gods. Probably both.

I've got an MS wheel as well, and never had your problem before. However mine sometimes switched view modes and then jumps to the menu even though I'm pretty sure I didn't hit the appropriate buttons. This was in FM2 btw, havne't seen it happen in FM3 (yet).
Sounds like a shortcircuit somewhere, maybe you've got the same problem?
